Benelli Leoncino

Looks like Benelli is going to make a big comeback in 2016
This is the Benelli Leoncino.

499.6cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke producing 47.6 BHP of power and 45 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. Trellis frame, 50mm USD front fork & a rear monoshock with preload adjustment. ABS comes as standard on this model with double 320mm disc at the front and a 260mm disc at the back.
47.6PS

The bike sports knobby tyres with 110/80/R19 profile at the front and 150/70/R17 profile at the back.

47.6PS at 8500 RPM and 45Nm at 4500 RPM. Compare this to the Ducati scrambler 400 that has 41 pk at 8750 rpm and 34,3 Nm at 7750 rpm and weights 167 dry.
I bet this new Benelli will be lighter, cheaper and faster than the new Ducati 400 scrambler. Ducati will not be very happy with this new Benelli...!
5Nm from its motor as early as 4500 RPM

I don't know about the 400 but the regular scrambler has the same engine as a monster 796. On the scrambler its mapped to put out 75hp. Upload the mapping of a Monster and you have 87hp. Install an open exhaust(no catalyst)and upload the track mapping and BAM 98hp of pure fun without breaking the bank.
I reckon the 400 can be remapped as well. The lower figures are just to pass some emission laws and cheaper insurance payments.
