After the race I noticed that I missed my GR650 as a daily driver. The ascot is nice but in the power department it's a little slow. The power to weight plus character of the engine of the GR650 is still my all time favorite that I've ridden so far so I started looking for a new GR650 project/daily driver.
This nice example popped up on Markplaats. It has some carb problems but it looks not to bad so far so hopefully I can update it a little and get this thing on the road in the following weeks. I now have 3 GR650's on my name. The Townsmoker, 1 for spare parts and now this one, ha
I haven't seen it yet with my own eyes. My brother picked it up for me and he send me these pictures.
The previous owner payed someone to adjust a beautiful alu moto guzzi cafe racer gas tank to fit on the GR650. Sadly enough it was done very roughly but still it's a nice tank. Although it looks great on the GR650 it's not going to stay. I'm not really into the cafe racers style myself so I'm going to sell the tank and turn in into a... Well I still have to think about that, ha
Yesterday I made my first ride after the crash and it felt good. Soaked my self in the rain but still it felt so good to be back on two wheels. So now I'm planning to go to Eindhoven next week and try to fix up this bad boy.
