Indian FTR1200

Indian did what we have all been dreaming about, they showed an Indian Street Tracker "concept", the FTR1200 at Eicma 2017. I think it looks even better than the race only version with this updated tail peace. The headlight construction is brilliant, damn this thing is sexy. Best street tracker concept I've seen so far. The response so far has been so extremely positive, I think it's just a matter of time before they will show us a production version. It probably won't have the carbon stuff all over and the rsd wheels. Let's hope they keep the 19" front and rear, that would be a game changer. If they will make a 750cc version, I promise I will sell everything I have to get one of these! A FTR Sixty like they did with the Scout would also be good enough for me, haha! :)

Now stop teasing us and build the damn thing Indian!!!

Alta Motors Redshift ST Street Tracker Concept

Alta just made this very nice concept street tracker. Looking at the rider pic it seems to be crazy low in the front, looks wrong somehow, but the rest of the bike super fresh. Great lines, love the frame, wheels, tyres, cool bike!

Harley Davidson Street 750 Flat Tracker at X Games Austin

Now it's getting very interesting!
I give you all the pictures of the new Harley Davidson Street Tracker 750 that I could find online in one place. This is a thing of beauty. Never thought I would say something like that about a 2014 Harley Davidson..!

Imagine a street version of this Steet 750 flat tracker. That would be tits!
But don't get to exited just yet.
Frame, wheels, mono set up, front fork, tail, gas tank, side radiators, exhaust, all are different from stock. Looks like they only used the engine from the Street 750.
But that doesn't mean they won't start making a similar street version in the future.

For me this is the most exciting news coming from Harley Davidson since I started this blog in 2008.
Great move Harley!
Now kids finally have something to dream about.

More pics will probably show up in the following days at #XGamesFlatTrack

Beautifull XT500 from Holland -The Quarter Mile

Bubble mail:

"Hi Lennard,

Thanks for the blog, I check it every day for my daily dose of cool bikes. Hope to find my own bike there one of these days ;-)

Over the past two years I have rebuilt my XT500, and last week I was finally at the point where I could make the first test run. It is still very uncomfortable, but a lot of fun to ride.

Not a lot is standard anymore: I swapped the front end (SR forks, TZ750 wheel, FZR disk, LTD440 calliper), made a new wiring loom and voltage regulator (no battery needed anymore), homebrewed exhaust, peg mounting plates, new rear brake mechanism, headlight frame, K180 loops, modified and delugged frame, have rebuilt the engine and probably more that I can't remember at the moment. This winter I finished the bike and had the tank and seat painted by Custom Painting Holland in Amerongen. They did a great job!

Inspired by the famous XR750, this is my little flat tracker. As a reference to the flat track scene, I named it the Quarter Mile. Hope you like it.

Cheers,
Erik"

A stock XT500 is already a very good looking bike
Now look at this sweet thing
This is probably the best looking XT500 In the Netherlands right now, what a cool build.
It screams LETS RIDE
Great looking exhaust
Like the paint job very much
The handle bar, tachometer, headlight combination is PERFECT!
I have to see this bike with my own eyes

There is a very, very small chance we will see this bike at Rusty Gold this year but Erik has other plans on the 5th of May.

Thanks Erik, stunning transformation, I love this bike.
