From Atelier Chatokhine I headed South.
Set my new navigation system(bought it on monday) on no highways or toll roads. Found out the middle of France between Paris and Biarritz is not very interesting. The landscape and roads are mostley boring. Dull town after dull town, straight roads, and at every round about straight ahead...
My plan was to go to Angoulême but at the end of the day I needed some interesting landscapes so I ignored my navigation and headed south east. The picture of the SV in front of the bridge is in Chabanaise. This is the only picture I have of the SV before the crash. Lost my phone with all the pictures a few hours after the crash, whoops!
Parc naturel regional du perigord limousin was my new destination and in the end I ended up in Hotel de France in Rochechouart. I arived there at ten. The kitchen was closed and all the restaurants in town where closed but luckily they still served a nice plateau du fromage.
What?!?! You crashed?!?! Everything oke with you?
ReplyDeleteYes, made my first knee down in Spain wearing jeans...
ReplyDeleteI'm okay. Bike had to be fixed before I could go home. Broken fairing, wind shield, brake lever, rear (brake) set, right mirror, navigation and my leather jacket has some battle scars now but still looks good, ha
Going to fast into a very slow corner, braking to much with the front brake. lost grip, fell and a new project bike was born.. :)
Haha, good to hear you are okay! If you need a new subframe, I just bought a new tube bender!
ReplyDeleteGoed dat alles OK is. En atelier chatokhine: super!
