Troy in Seattle sends us the ultimate post ever - The bikes my girlfriend Nikki's which started out as a 79 kz400 that we found on Craigslist for cheap. We we're looking more for an sr500 but this came up and it was like new. It had been sitting around some guys garage since the 80's. I redid the back of the frame and nickel plated it, cut up a sportster tank, made the exhaust and used some nos reverse cone mufflers. The seat was done out of sheet metal by Josh Ewing of Ewing Kustoms who also did the battery mount which is integrated into the rear motor mount. My friend Frank at AirFX in Tacoma did the paint which photos don't do justice. The Flanders bars, and old headlight and taillight we found digging around swap meets. Thanks Troy!
